A windbreaker from Liverpool's centenary season of 1992/93, the club's 100th year and the first ever season of the Premier League. It was also the first season with Carlsberg on the front of the kit, a partnership that lasted 18 years, with Adidas supplying the centenary range in red and green.
Graeme Souness's side finished sixth, with Ian Rush top scorer on 14 league goals and a squad that included Ronnie Whelan, Mark Wright, John Barnes, Jan Molby and Mark Walters. Liverpool had won the FA Cup the season before but went out of the competition in the third round, which makes this a piece from a transitional year in the club's history.
