It was worn in a season that started badly, with the Bianconeri sitting 12th after ten matches, before Massimiliano Allegri's side recovered to win a fifth straight Serie A title and a second straight Coppa Italia, becoming the first Italian team to win back to back league and cup doubles.
Paulo Dybala, signed that summer, led the scoring with 19 league goals, while Gianluigi Buffon set a Serie A record for goalkeepers with 974 minutes without conceding. With the Supercoppa Italiana also in the cabinet, Juventus became the first Italian team to complete a domestic treble, even as the Champions League ended in the round of 16 against Bayern Munich.
