Boca Juniors 2001/02 Away Shirt

Boca Juniors' 2001/02 away shirt by Nike swaps the famous blue for yellow, finished with blue and white detail. It was worn through a season of change at La Bombonera, which began under Carlos Bianchi and continued under Oscar Tabarez after Bianchi left in December 2001.

It was a season that still carried the weight of the Copa Libertadores. Boca had retained the trophy by beating Cruz Azul on penalties, took Bayern Munich to extra time in the Intercontinental Cup in Tokyo, and finished third in both the Apertura and Clausura, with Riquelme, Tevez and Burdisso among the players in the squad.
